In-Home Nursing

The questions can be overwhelming. We can help.Due to illness, injury or conditions due to advanced age, you are suddenly faced with trying to determine if your disabled family member or elderly parent will be able to live at home.

The questions can be overwhelming…

  • Where do you begin?
  • What kind of care is needed?
  • What happens if there is an emergency?
  • Will you be able to take care of your loved one
and balance the rest of your life?

Rest assured, we can provide the answers to all of these questions.

The process begins with the initial interview within 24 hours of a request by you (the client or case manager) followed by a complete assessment, ordered by the physician, conducted by a registered nurse. In addition to the clinical assessment, interviews are held with the family members to determine their specific needs, concerns, and requests.

We also recommend our Certified Conflict Dynamics Profile for any or all parties involved administered confidentially by our certified staff before or shortly after services begin.

Our skilled nursing division has been providing in-home skilled nursing care for over 25 years. We know there are many options, but when it comes to managing in-home medical needs, you can count on us for unparalleled expertise.

Our caregivers are trained to provide the level of services needed for your loved one, spanning a complete spectrum from basic companionship to complex, catastrophic and/or “medically fragile” cases. The professionals at The Specialty Nurse Company are committed to providing the highest standard of care to our clients and their families.

We take patient hobbies and other interests into consideration when assigning caregivers. We know that every case is unique. Our In-Home Nursing Service begins with a complete assessment of your specific needs and a discussion to identify the unique aspects of each client, and their families. Whether you need companions, Certified Nurse Assistants, or a combination of various skills, The Specialty Nurse Company can accommodate your needs. Once the assessment is completed, the Case Specific Orientation Program (CSOP) will be implemented in a manner that will establish balance, trust, and mutual respect between all parties.

With our proprietary CSOP we are able to balance each case with the appropriate caregiver based on factors other than just clinical aspects of the case, including personality, allergies, likes and dislikes, hobbies and other interests.

If your needs become greater, you can count on us to provide the level of care you need to provide the best in-home care experience possible.
